Improve your capital allocation and get more transparency for your liquidity management. Analyze working capital on transaction level with Valsight and get better insights to optimize your business processes.
Valsight enables working capital management based on individual transactions (journal entry level). This eliminates the bias of calculating working capital KPIs with averages and allows you to conduct multidimensional analyses and simulate the impact of changed payment conditions and measures for cash flow improvements.
Working Capital Management with Valsight:
Valsight's innovative in-memory technology allows to calculate a 'TrueDSO' (Days Sales Outstanding) based on individual transactions by calculating the difference in days between invoice and payment date. This enables a better analysis of your customers' paying behaviours.
The traditional DSO calculation uses the average of receivables for a period and divides them by the average daily revenue. Especially for companies with strong seasonality and trends, this form of calculation can cause severe distortions and biases and prevent meaningful comparisons
With Valsight you can simulate the impact of different actions to improve your company's cash flow and liquidity. Compare different scenarios for receivables and changes in payment terms and simulate their impact on the cash conversion cycle.
Valsight calculates working capital KPIs with the level of detail you need in order to identify opportunities for improvement and take action. Multidimensional calculations allow for individual analyses for different segments, customers, or profit centers. Changes in customer payment behavior and their impact on working capital can be analyzed in more detail and even simulated to discuss effects of appropriate measures.
In contrast to average-based DSO calculation, Valsight calculates days sales outstanding based on the actual days between the billing and payment dates for each individual invoice. This analysis on transaction level eliminates the problem of seasonal sales. This results in better predictions about the payment behavior of each customer and a better cash flow forecast.
