Valsight is a Berlin based company that was founded in the beginning of 2015 at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam.
Our vision is the integration of value driver models and advanced analytics into traditional controlling processes like corporate planning, reporting and forcasting. We aim at making controlling analyses more future-oriented and to sustainably improve the controlling process.
Constanze Buchheim is the founder and director of i-potentials, the first HR agency that has specialized in recruiting in the digital industry. With many years of experience in the German startup scene and her capabilities as business coach she supports young businesses and leaders with the digital transformation of businesses.
Julian Bürklein is Senior Investment Manager and authorized signatory of main incubator, the early-stage investor, and the research and development unit of Commerzbank. There he is co-responsible for the investment management process and the supervision of the start-up portfolio. Before that, he worked in the area of Venture Capital & Private Equity Investments.
Dr. Werner Sinzig is our industry expert for value driver models and simulations. In the last years through his activities at SAP he specialized on innovative applications in the finance and accounting sector, such as controlling and simulations, that are based on in-memory database technology. Dr. Sinzig lectures at different established universities and has published multiple acadamic contibutions.
Robin Staszek has been CFO of Hasso Plattner Ventures since January 2018. He is responsible for internal and external reporting as well as financial analysis and structuring of investments. Previously, he held a similar position in the area of indirect and direct venture capital & private equity investments in the family office of the Plattner family. After graduating as MSc. in intl. Finance he gathered several years of experience as a financial analyst with various major German companies.
